Lineage

In the wake of two masters

“It was Germaine Holley who first spoke to me of Dane Rudhyar, in 1978.” From that encounter was born a lineage that runs through all of Samuel’s work: a humanistic and transpersonal astrology, in the service of consciousness.

Astrologer · born in Besançon in 1904

Samuel’s first teacher. An heir to the teaching of Charles Vouga, she introduced him from 1978 onward to an astrology of consciousness — and led him to discover the work of Dane Rudhyar.

Paris 1895 — San Francisco 1985

Composer, poet and philosopher, founder of humanistic and transpersonal astrology. Samuel met him in California, translated his books and was granted his friendship until his final days.
